Of course their is a type of person that drives any brand of car, its called a Driver!
I give zero fucks what people think of the car brand I drive or what it means I must be as a person.
It's probably true though |

"It’s not the just the car, people with flash fast cars who drive them slow, it’s clearly an ego extension.
If you’re going to drive 10 mph under the speed limit, buy a corsa
The mr "
Curious logic. |

I saw a Bartlett podcast recently which said that when we look at flashy cars, we rarely admire the people driving them, instead we usually imagine ourselves driving them and being cool. I think this is fairly true.
I guess the car is the ultimate status symbol with “personality” that people buy to say something about themselves. However, what they’re trying to say and what people see are often very different |

Don't think it says anything. But get how some perceive a status as an extension or stereotype a behaviour, etc. I just don't see it that way.
I've always had the mindset of buy what I like and need, if that happens to get me typecast so be it, but I won't lose sleep over it.

We have a PT Cruiser. Two in fact (one is a convertible for the summer). We love its retro styling. We don't care if others don't like them. We do and that's all that matters. It doesn't define us as people. |

"I drive a Ferrari but i also drive a van I'm no type but i enjoy the van more these days, whats the point of a sports car that you can't drive to its potential "
Similar.
Loved playing with the old Ford S-Max in France.
Loved playing with the new BMW M5 in France.
Looking forward to playing with the old Citroën C3 in France.
That's probably because driving any car in most of France is fun.
London - every car was just a headache, so I'd use the bus or jog to work a lot of the time.
Sussex - every car is "nearly" fun. |

"Gave up my car a few years ago as I slowly came to the realisation that the car is the enemy of old age!
Not the bus pass then?"
I don’t do buses either. Stay local and walk or get the odd Uber. At least with the bus pass you have to walk to the stop. |

If it has a "sunroof", you can see the moon too.
I loved seeing the moon at night through a sunroof.
I think a lot of America calls them "moonrooves" as well. |

Beautiful at night...stars and moon. If you can get the position right, I'd 100% recommend it Fred.

Ahh yeah.
Their drivers never let people out at junctions though. Bloody annoying, because in all my cars worth £500 - £80,000 I would let people out at junctions.

"In my opinion, Saabs have always been associated with Architects … ?
"
I am not an architect but did reverse a Saab into a stable wall whem practicing for my driving test.
Forgot it was longer than a Corsa.
Don't worry, my stables were fine.

I'm surprised that nobody has come up with the obvious answer yet. Citroens are probably in a different category to the others, though, not the least being their country of origin. |

"I will drive almost anything but will not stoop low enough to drive a Ford."
Oddly enough, probably the Mazda vehicle I class as the favourite of all I have owned is also badged up as a Ford. Nevertheless I was quite glad mine wasn't even though they were otherwise identical.
All the more odd was that Ford never made a North American version. |

I drive a Toyota I liked its looks but mainly bought because of its reliability and driving aids. I just use it as a tool to get from A-B.
However motorbikes, especially 2 strokes I absolutely love their looks, smell and how enjoyable they are to ride.
If I won the lottery I’d have loads of bikes but only one car, cars are just tin boxes to me.
(Admittedly I do like an Aston Martin ) |

It all depends on who drives them. I’m a big car fan and enjoy the company etos behind them and the measures they go to when engineering them, coupled with the fact that they need to appeal to me when I look at them, I like cars that are good at what they do, I currently drive a Range Rover, because it’s a brilliant tow car and I believe is the absolute best all round do anything car you can buy, I also have a bmw and have always driven BMW’s because I love the way they used to be made and engineered- they wanted their cars to be the best in the world in their class and in many instances they succeeded. Nobody gives a shit when they see me driving them and females do not throw themselves at me so I definitely haven’t bought them for that.
Like with many things on fab- it’s just personal preference |

Are Range Rovers one of the most unreliable cars on the planet? |
