Are you still in touch with people you got to know when you first joined fab.

This morning I had a lovely message from a gorgeous soul who was one of the first people who I befriended on fab, way way way back when I was on here as Poetsday.
It was great to be back in touch. It’s easy to lose touch with people, it’s not ghosting it’s just different things come along that veer our courses.
Anyway, just thought I’d share that with you, do you think about your old acquaintances at all?  |

Yes. I'm friends on Facey with a few that I've known since around 2012.
One or two are still on here. Some have left and come back, some have migrated from being regular users to lurkers.
But I've made some good friends over the years and am hoping to catch up with a couple at some point this year.  |

Just a couple.
Been here since 2014 and most of the people I met have long since gone.
Couple have stayed in touch though.
Some of our earliest friends on our couples profile have become great friends and were part of our recent wedding.. |

Two of my best friends, one male, one female are people I met through here years ago.
Neither of them are on the site now but we keep in regular touch.
I also got a message a couple of weeks ago from someone I used to chat to years ago as well. |

That's lovely to hear OP!
I have been very lucky that even after my 5 year absence my Fab friends have welcomed me back with open arms I saw one of my old Fab friends last weekend who I havent seen in years!! And I'm seeing another one next week |

No we're not. I don't think we give enough of ourselves away to make proper friends on line and most of the people we met or interacted with have left the site or drifted away. It's difficult for us to get to big organised socials nowadays and that's where a lot of friendships seem to be forged |

I think about some old contact sometimes.
Some I think of very fondly and some I miss.
There’s some still in the forum now from when I first joined, but it’s always been a forum friendship and nothing more than that.
Only one person shown me something can be long term here.
And I do consider her a friend.  |

Not sure about the very first, but yes still in touch with a few that I have met over time. Even someone that loves bloody hours and hours away but get on well so no reason to lose contact |

Sadly not. Of my two favourites, one went off and got married (how very selfish!  ) and the other blocked me after saying that I was too tempting!?!!
Onwards and upwards though, I have some great new friends now |

Not anymore lost touch with the lady a few years ago..
We chatted regularly off site, then a week became a month then a few months and its been so long now itd be very strange texting her out of the blue  |

We still keep in touch with one of the first couples we met on here.
They moved away a while ago, but recently got in touch to say they were back living in the area. I’m really looking forward to seeing them again!. |

The first couple I meet was when I was when I joined fab with my then husband, I have lost contact with them and no longer married.
The first person I met when I joined (12 years ago) as a single woman, I still met up with for some fun. |

I joined many years ago and met some lovely people on here. Tbh it became more a social side of my life whereby sex became less important than catching up with what was happening in each others lives.
We all grew apart and some left FS, like myself, others changed usernames or relationship status.
Alas, contact was lost but the happy memories still remain. Although I still find myself wondering how my friends are doing and if they are still managing with their life challenges.

I recently had a short break from Fab. Thought I had a serious health problem but turned out to be a false alarm. I was on here previously by myself and prior to that with my late wife.
I am still friends with the first couple we met. They don't play any more due to health problems but good friends. |

When we first joined FAB we were singles and when we got together as a couple we said we wouldn’t mix the people we met sexually before with the people we meet as a couple.
We’ve stayed friends with a couple of people who were just friends.
Bellaseas has been my best friend on here for years, who comes and goes like a stray cat

The person who introduced me to this site over 10 years ago, we still message from time to time. Another moved to Wales, but I see him from time to time and a third I've recently started to attend dance fitness classes with. I've known all three for over 10 years and we keep in contact away from Fab.
I'm lucky to have made great friends via this site. |

One was just absolute drama and had some issues  (I spotted him on a forum users veris not long ago!)One was a bit of a stalker and the other was actually alright but I don't think he's about anymore.

i havent been on here that long compared to a lot of you - my bestie is from here and we talk every day - i get people pop back to chat with me who have watched my journey and like to 'keep an eye on me'. apparently my mischief levels appear to have grown ! I put that down to hanging about in chat |

I joined just before the first lockdown on a different profile. There were lots of groups set up on Kik and Telegram and i made some wonderful friends through that. We don't chat as often these days though.
In terms of meets, I don't chat to anyone. |

Yes, occasionally I get a message from one of about four very old contacts on WhatsApp asking for cock or sending me tits or asking me for general life advice and promising we must meet up again soon…
