I’ve really loved two people, and what you said above resonates. I adjusted to them, wanting to share myself with them, but just as much wanting to tag along with their adventures.

My heart skips a beat every time he walks into the room. And it gets deeper by the weeks, months and years.
I would find myself staring at him with absolute joy in my heart.

I think a lot of people confuse love with lust and infatuation...or they meet someone that kinda fits what they want and cling on to them with dear life proclaiming love but never really knowing what it is.
Real love is rare, and id say it never goes away. You may not stay together, but you never stop loving them.

I met my with in 1995, and I left her 2 yr ago, I absolutely loved her, and I know exactly what true love is, or should be or was. Or al least what it mean and means to me.

You know when you know, but that can also be a curse, because then nothing else lives up to true love! 
Obviously there’s the other caring love we all know to some extent, the kind that grows with shared experiences and such, but that’s not the big LOVE love mentioned above… |

Love is many things, we have a tendency to equate it with romantic love. Which to me limits the amount of people you love and who love you back.
Love I think is when your comfortable being yourself with them and they feel the same. That feeling is amazing, finding your kind of people is epic |
