Both.
With some people I'm a talker because I'm relaxed in their company.
With some I'm a listener because I'm relaxed in their company.
With others I can be both at the same time but often because I'm talking to prevent them from doing so. |

Exactly this. Too often people seem like they’re listening, but really they’re just thinking about what to say next. I don’t want to open up to them. |

Listener first
Talker when I have something the other person wants or needs to hear or I am giving feedback on a purchase or I want to express pleasure or I am buying something over the phone or typing into the ether. If I just listened on here that would be quite odd...... Hellloooooooooooo |

Listener, though I'm also a forgetful listener, so will often need things to be repeated. That said, with the rights stimulus I can be quite the talker... it takes skills to get me to that point though. |

I just talk, nobody else has anything to say that's more important that my opinion and I don't care if they do. Also if I stop talking I might have my views challenged and the futility of my life will become clear.  |

Both.
Sometimes I'm with someone who wants to talk. Sometimes I'm with someone who wants to listen.
And there are times when I only want one or the other myself.
I'm probably more of a listener overall. But I'll also waffle and word vomit someone's ear off if that's the mood in that moment. |
