I stole a plum when I was 5. Stuffed it in a hot pocket. Worried the police were following me, by the time I got home the whole army and air force (in my head) were following me. I took it out, showed my Dad, and burst into tears.
He just about managed to tread the line between mild admonishment, life lesson, a cuddle, and pissing himself laughing  . |
