Any other recommendations really don't have a clue where to start how do you decide what cruise line etc

I've got two booked. One in summer with my sons, one in February with my bestie. Summer will be my first time too.

Have a think about destinations you want to go to and then see who goes there.

I found cruise kings to be a really good site to look at

I love going on a cruise and one of the best things about them is discovering new places.

I have cruised the Adriatic so we docked at Montenegro, Split, Koper etc. I’d never been in that part of the world before and the scenery is breathtaking. So think of somewhere that you want to try and base your cruise out of there. There’s nothing worse than rocking up for your holiday somewhere hot and discovering that you don’t like it. A cruise takes that risk away, you’re only there for a few hours.

Also think about what it’s important to you. On some cruise lines the food can be amazing with menus set by famous chefs. On other cruise lines the entertainment is amazing.

Remember that you can do as much or as little as you like and the formal stuff isn’t compulsory.
