So I have joined POF only 4 days ago and had 2 seperate bits of action, been on here months and not a sniff of anything, anyone else had this happen i imagine most replies will be guys |

Quite a few people I know have said the same thing... I did it the wrong way round - met a few guys on pof - nothing happened, met a guy on here who I'm now waiting for (he's away 3 months with work) but I still meet ladies :D |

POF is shit. My mate and I both had profiles on there for a while. Its more like a sex site, because guys would send a normal message, then once you replied they would start with the requests. We also had some v strange people msg us. Note we arent a couple lol both are straight. she has a boyfriend. needless to say we left POF

Just putting it forward thats all had nothing on here in months but instant on there, i still prefer fab though because its like a secret society on here where as you have to full on explain your life but the hook was reeled in over the weekend and nothing on here |

There are more women on pof in comparison to fab which explains why some guys get more luck on there. The reason I dont use pof is that it is less discrete. You have to show face pics on 'public pics' category which I dont like doing. I still have account on pof but use fab more |

If you think Fab is a similar site and you expect the same results? Welcome to disappointment.
The belief that they are designed for the same purpose is the reason so many come on here and are soon moaning at their lack of 'success'. If POF works for you maybe it's a better place to be? |

Got more interest on there too. Like on here though, women get a lot of interest so they are talking to multiple blokes. Because of this I found most women aren't looking for anything serious until they meet their perfect ideal (who probably doesn't exist!) so there's a lot of short-term going on. |

Think there are a few on here: I'm a PoF refugee; got kicked off. As a bloke have to accept women are getting bombarded by messages. Meet some nice girls on PoF some who because regular buddies. One, married but not sleeping with hubby any more, used telet herself interest mine and cum and get in bed with me. I was onPOF a few years ago and found it full of nice guy most of who were looking to date . I had quite a few dates and then gave up x so about 6 mths ago I rejoined and this time I can't find anyone on there looking for more than a fuck . I got sex off both sites. On POF , I stated I was not looking for sex. When i was asked why, I told them I was a Swinger.... which started whole new conversation. I converted a few ladies to FAB, when they explained they were only wanting sex off POF and did not understand the Swinging scene to be confident to log on a Swinger site. |

I tried POF recently and it was (almost!) a complete waste of time. Loads of nutters, fakes and weirdos (now where have I heard that before...????? lol!)
And it looks like they've finally cottoned on to how many want to use if just for sex contacts as they've started charging guys (not sure if they have for women) if you want to search Intimate Encounters.
I gave up with it. If you think Fabs is hard work, 'Loads of Haddock' (POF) is a worse! |

I tried PoF. I got exactly the same amount of responses on there as I did on here.
..and I was actually trying to do the proper dating game, not after a leg over. There are genuine people looking for dating on PoF, sadly they are so far into the minority its like ice skating uphill.
Its a annoying and frustrating for the genuine, real people out there. |

I found pof ott, way too many mails. All the lads just looking for a jump even though my profile said I was looking for a bit more.
At least here you can see verifications and know they aren't just dreamers.
There is a lot if cross over of the same people, not just on pof but all the swing sites..
Whatever works best for you is the one I'd go with.. |

He used to go on pof on a sunday afternoon, send a copy and paste mail to all the new local girls, till it used to get barred.
He would wait for replies and probably get 5 or 6 dates for the week. he would choose the best two and meet them for friday and saturday night.

It's been interesting for me to have meets with lovely women who've gone straight on here. (Telling me they've gone on here by recommendation / word of mouth).
Whereas I've got here by degree. Went onto PoF some time ago coz it's free and at first took it all seriously: wrote a profile talking about what music I liked, etc. Had a few horrendous 'dates' which were more like job inter_iews than job inter_iews before eventually working it out for myself that there were some on there who just wanted to fuck. Then it got better!

Everyone to their own I say.. If people want to use sites like POF and similar but also use a swinging site like FAB that is their choice and who are we to judge them.. You have your reasons!!
POF is not my scene but I do have friends who are members on there and appreciate they enjoy mixing the lifestyle scene with some vanilla elements thrown in too without getting too serious..
To those FAB members who complain about this site and not receiving any interest.. No one holds a gun to your head to stay on here.. Consider your profile wording and pics.. Look at how you converse with people on here and your approach!! |

Funny, when I'm meeting someone new I always tell my sister he's from POF. She lives in Italy so just assumed it was a "normal" dating site.

I tend to find around this area the same guys are on Pof as here!! Got blown out a few week ago by a guy on Pof as I wasn't his type as I'm a bbw! Very funny him contacting me on here weeks later asking to meet up. When I said thanks but no thanks and explained myself I got ' well love girls like you join fab as its your only way to get fucked, your worth a fuck but not dating material' I thanked him and said I had seen his fab pics and didn't think he was worth a fuck. Not sure of the motives for joining the other site but have read many, many, many times people sign up here for a lifestyle...the lifestyle is key and sex was a low percentage against the lifestyle... The friendships and the social side.

Im on both but agree as have had far more success on pof aswell.whether dating or swinging sites.ive only ever met like minded women in pof.although only been on fab a month.ive arranged 4 meets already only to be stood up 4 times & this is the swingers site.? Timewasters & fantasists so far  |

Although I have found on fab a few false profiles----they last a max of 1 hour then they disappear----I've found on pof that if you use the search facility the majority of profiles are false, they only want to see how many replies they get or they are advertising another site,been on here for 3 months,not only had some great sex but made some great friends for life,so in my experience this site is much better than pof. |
