Have I missed something here? Like I've never paid much attention to trends or whatever but recently I've been noticing a few people in my gym wearing jeans or cargo trousers when lifting weights.
Is this a new fad? Or is it a proper style thing? |

Might they be special gym trousers? I have no idea because the gym and I never trouble each other.
When you think women used to play tennis in full length skirts and long sleeved blouses, trousers for weight lifting don't seem so bad. |

"It's been going on sometime.
A guy used to rock up at our gym wearing jeans and Timberland boots.
Whyyyyy" boots I get if you are lifting heavy all the time . When youre kicking plates around the protection helps when you eventually do something dumb. |

You only drop a cast 20kg plate on your toes once. Then you learn your lesson |

"It seems to be a thing at the moment. I've noticed a few people online posting themselves training wearing work shirts, jeans, boots etc.
Fuck knows why though, there's no way it's comfortable "
So macho, he's got to be so macho |

I was going to say I am going to start dressing like landed gentry but every time I type tw**d it edits out the word
That said I still plan on keeping people guessing. Am I deadlifting or grouse hunting? |

Most people at my gym dress to make a statement - they're mostly under 30 at mine. I've seen 2 in cargo type bottoms, I'd guess. Some people work in the building, but not in sports related jobs, so may be popping in during time restricted breaks. This latter man be like reasons for them. Otherwise, I'm uncertain about it, except that I know some cargo type leggings have been in style recently, in general. |

We've seen a Man doing weights in Jeans. We've also seen two Lads (about 17 years old) in School uniform exercising in the gym more than once. Whatever next? People going to the shop in Pyjamas or a Onesie? |

There is a pt atv my gym who wears black combats. In my opinion this is not professional. However the customers I wish to think otherwise so maybe i am wrong. |

I have seen it all, guys straight from work looking like a plasters radio, and guys in full office wear.
I say get changed before you workout. Can't imagine a proper workout, physically or mentally, without getting prepared. They must just do a few things and toddle off back home.
No excuse, you can pick gym wear up very cheaply and readily available these days. Plus it never hurts to looks good at the same time |

There's an absolute freak of nature on Instagram that lifts massive amounts of weight called Tom Havilland.
He wears cargos and a shirt so I would assume it's something to do with him.
Hopefully they go the whole hog and don't show thir faces too.. Haha |
