Home or Holiday which is better?

We love holidays and day trips, cocktails on beaches, galleries & adventures, city breaks and walking the peaks with friends or alone …..But we also love staying in, cooking, watching movies, snuggled on the sofa with your favourite person or dog and pottering in the garden….
But which is better ? There’s only one way to find out! A ‘would-you-rather’ FAB poll…..
Would you rather:
A/ Give up your home & spend your entire life in luxury hotels, travelling countries & cities, city breaks at Premier Inn and constant day trips.
or
B/ Never have a single holiday or day trip ever again and be confined to your house, garden & local Asda….

This is a tough one for a Tuesday morning OP! I’m such a home bird but the thought of never being able to go on holiday EVER again has made me realise quite how dull (although cosy) a life in my local area would be.
Would have to be only staying abroad for me I reckon! |

Deepest darkest Peru |
I love adventures but I love my home
The luxury hotels don’t bother me on these adventures I’d settle for a tent, need a decent pillow though
I’m going to go for the adventures as long as family and friends are there along the way
I’d actually miss work a little as I love my job
Right posting this before I change my mind again |

"Well this is easy. If I win the lottery I'm doing exactly A. Visit every country in the world staying in hotels/Airbnb whatever. "
I actually had a meet on here with couple who do just that but rather than Airbnb / hotels they are members of a dog sitting community.
Some gorgeous houses |

I think I’d for for A in a country with four seasons and a huge garden backing onto open farm fields and the front close enough to hear & smell the sea. There’s lots of happiness and adventures at home with the right hobbies & people. Holidays / travel can be tiring & lonely ! |

That sounds exactly like my home in Jersey, which I only visit on holiday! |

Wherever I lay my hat |
I've done A. Had no home since last June and been roaming free ever since. Occasionally I miss having somewhere to come home too but living out of a backpack has given me a whole new perspective on material possessions and what I value most highly |
