The mirror effect

Has anyone ever looked at themselves in a 'true mirror'?

I consider myself reasonably inteligent (masters level), however i didn't realise until about half an hour ago that when you look in the mirror, your reflection is inverted... i've just spent the past thirty minutes looking at myself with some level of confusion, dissapointment and dismay as i've realised that that's how others see me...

Do i/you really look that different from another persons perspective compared to what i see in the mirror??

Anyone else had this before and felt the same way?? Confidence has taken somewhat of a hit here...

This is explains why I think I look good but no one else does.

Now I'm sad.

Newcastle upon Tyne

Considering I usually just do a helicopter in the mirror and then put my pants on. I hope this isn’t how people see me.

It's instinct to focus on the negative or what we consider flaws, the longer we stare in the mirror the more we do ourselves dirty. People see us differently than we see ourselves and those so called things that you hate about yourself? Others don't notice or see that.

Stay away from self criticism and learn more self love
