Or if we say no thanks we delete immediately.

My filters mean I rarely get messages I would leave unread.

I generally keep them if it's a conversation and delete if not.

We keep our inbox as clean and tidy as possible. It can be a bit hectic sometimes, with lots of messages flying in and out, but we always play catch up before too long.

Despite my username, I like to keep it clean. It’s not much as I don’t really get a lot of messages but I promptly delete the ones I’m not interested in reading and also delete my sent inbox the minute I send a message.
