Are you more a dog or a cat person?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I love all animals and they all have their own qualities. However dogs are special, loyal and loving. The way they look up at you as if to say I know you are there, thank you, it just melts your heart. Excellent for your physical and mental health too. Having said that, some cats are adorable and did have some growing up and my neighbours cat is never far away |

"Definitely a cat lady
I like cats, but I have to stick with the dogs. Mans best friend
This is true, can't argue with that but cats are more independent "
You'll love this. My dog is terrified of cats. Tried being tough a cat once. Came back with a cats claw in his head lol |

"I'd kick both so either or
Mr
I hope this is a joke "
If it is it's in bad taste and if not I won't say anything as I'd be banned.
We had our cat poisoned a few years ago and it was extremely traumatic for us including my daughter who was traumatised |

"Cats.
Nothing against dogs and we would have one but it's the walking /exercising where it fall apart as only one person would endup doing it."
This is exactly it for me…..too much time needed on walking and I’d be the only one doing it. |

Cheers we knew it was the neighbour but couldn't prove it we also suspected he was a serial killer as well |

Definitely not a cat person, ive always had a Rottie, my 4th one passed away last December a week before my wife died . Strangely both of them died in similar circumstances, a heart attack. I miss them both so much . |

Had a beautiful dog growing up, and I love them, but in adulthood since I have had my own places, it's been cats all the way. Beautiful creatures and once you understand how they do business, they are very affectionate. |

Crazy... I seem to remember a big thing on the news a while ago too about someone going around killing cats. Sickening really. |

"Love them both, but dogs need too much looking after; cats are a bit more self-sufficient."
Dogs. Match with the right dog for your lifestyle and energy levels and it's easy enough |

We had a cat, it buggered off for months, came back for a couple days, shit on daughters bed & buggered off never to be seen again
Our dogs on the other hand have never done that & give so much more love than the cat ever did. Definitely makes me a dog person lol |

Dogs. I don't hate cats, some are actually very sweet. But dogs always make me .
I'm currently looking at getting my first one since I was 23. I grew up with big dogs, my partner little things. I'm hoping we can settle on a weimaraner (fuck compromise ). |

100% dogs!
Cats are aresholes, especially the ones from next door that use my garden as a toilet especially when my kids are staying and the first I know of any fresh cat shit is when it's on the bottom of one of their shoes.
Having owned dogs in the past I don't mind picking up after them but picking up after other people's cats really annoys me. |

Oooohhh...dogs are cute, adorable, waggy, loyal, playful.
And if you can put up with their slobber, wrangling a Boxer is a full body workout combined with pant-wetting laughter.
But...cats edge it.
Because they don't NEED you.
They CHOOSE you.
And then they fuck off because they've thought of something more interesting they want at that precise moment.
There's some magickal, brutal honesty in that which dogs and humans can't quite get to most of the time. We're a bit too clingy, too afraid of alone-ness. |

So im both a cat and dog lover having had cats since i was a baby and they used to sleep at the bottom of my pram so i would be told even once took my first 2 cats out on a lead hehe but past 12 yrs now been without cats.
i have also have had and still do have my dogs, watched sadly as many have died either of old age or all sorts of cancers. i have had German Shepherds which i used to show but now dont have as they have passed on, and also Cocker Spaniels in which i have shown also but let them be pets for a while and they are my babies... I have 5 girls and awesome personalities to match |

Had both bur definitely a dog person if it wasn't for the hours I work I'd have another but it'd be unfair. So I've currently got a pet snake easy to look after and doesn't need walking lol |

My argument against dogs for me is that they are too dependent whilst my current complaint against cats is that I trod in some cat shit in my garden this afternoon, so right now I don't want either. |

"Dog for me... My little Shih Tzu thinks he's one of the guys and I'd be lost without him.
But he is one of the boys mate "
Of course he is, what am I thinking.. Thanks mate. He'd be most unchuffed with me. |

I like dogs, and I will happily stroke them, but I'm sh*t scared of them.
Had 2 cats at home as a late teen and loved them so much. I still miss them today, especially our girl, she was the most gentle thing.
Really would love to get a cat, but live in a flat next to a main road...so perhaps one day.
The thing I'd love most though is a bunny!! |

I don't particularly like cats and wouldn't wish any harm to them but, they seem to know I'm allergic to them cos that's when they're awfy friendly with me
I much prefer dogs. Had dogs for most of my life though unfortunately don't have the time to dedicate them |
