How important is your profile name in here? Should it be memorable, make you stand out, make people ask you about it?

I personally don't think it'd important unless it's a bit cringey

If you attend socials or clubs regularly, having a username that’s easy to remember would be beneficial.

I don’t think it really matters for anything else.

As long as it's not "off putting" it's all good

Mine's not even my real name, just a name that I felt like using on the day that I set my account up!

Some will definitely put people off, so I'd say name is important if it's cringe

There are some people here who we know we will avoid just from their username.

The sexually explicit ones generally don't achieve meets and kinda tell you how that person thinks, the thoughtful ones achieve so much more.....

It's important enough not to change it because the few people that take any notice recognise it.

Most call me RB so in that sense it's not really important.

Probably more than people think.

A clever or intriguing name won't exactly cause your inbox to light up but might just appeal to one or two of the right mindset?

But if you call yourself 'cuntybastardbollocks' don't expect to ever get messaged, ever.

Our name is simply taken from a place we spent a lot of time when we first met. It's not important to us per se, but it does remind of us of our younger years together.

Nope. I’m less likely to talk to someone with a name doesn’t sit right with me. I don’t know why, but there we go.

That does not mean that overtime, somebody with an idiotic name has become bearable

It's hardly shallow, as a username reveals a lot about a person's mindset.

As mentioned, just because it sounds quirky and interesting doesn't mean it's going to appeal to everyone or even be indicative of a particular quirky and interesting personality, but if a name particularly coarse like the example given, you can be sure whoever chose it's a prat.

I like mine, it's an ice breaker to those that enjoy the books and it's memorable enough that I have been able to say it at clubs.

Also a fan of the fact it's not rude so I don't go bright red having to tell the nice person on reception that I'm checking in as "cumguzzler76"

Important enough that some can be off putting. There's definitely some that have put me off in the past. I've always used something that can be used a name I can go by as well. Realised quite early on it was safer than giving out my real name.

CuntDestroyer isn't going to have me dropping my knickers any time soon. I like memorable names that suit people. The "witty" ones can sometimes be anything but. I try and not be a name snob. Probably fail.

I can be really put off by some usernames. So yeah, it does matter. I've been told Julie suits me better than my real name. I guess she's my alter ego who has sexy adventures.

Our original one was a letters numbers combo and just a bit awkward/ unmemorable when telling people in clubs for verification purposes. Since then we've changed to our current name which has meaning to us and is slightly more memorable

I thought about mine for all of .5 seconds. No significance whatsoever or real connection to me. If I care about what others thought or if they found it memorable I'd likely change it. But I don't.
