My alarm clock comes in the shape of small children.

The first crack of sunlight through the curtains, so whatever time that was. I don’t even bother checking sometimes

No alarm as on a weeks holiday, the animal alarm (cat pawing face and dog licking my cheek) went off at 7.07am, we normally get up at 7am if we are working.

It was set for 06.30, but I was awake before it, so turned the alarm off. Standard really, as I'm almost always awake before the alarm, regardless of the time I set it for.

In Ginger Towers, the alarm going off bears no resemblance to the time I actually get out of bed. I plan my alarms so I can hit snooze. It went off at 8. I got op at 9.15 though my commute is only 11 steps to the spare room!
