I'm not feeling 100% today, bit of a cold, could develop into manflu.

If I'm not posting tomorrow please send flowers.

Got to soldier on though, right.

Empty cupboards so I need a Tesco trip.

Writes shopping list, picks up keys and wallet, goes to the front door and turns back to lock up, but something doesn't feel right.

Checks glasses, wallet, keys, shopping list....

*ponders.....

Ah yes, I'm still in my dressing gown and slippers....

Anywho, how's your April going?

St Leonards

I think my best was oversleeping as a teenager.

Panicked, rushed to get ready, left in a shot, got to work for 7.30 (should have been 7am start)....and everything was closed.

Yup...instead of falling asleep, dead tired, at 6pm and oversleeping until 6.45am the following day...I'd only been asleep 45 mins...and got to work 11.5 hours before it opened (also being so mind-fuddled I didn't notice the pubs were open on the way to work).

I felt a tad silly .

Mine has been full of pain so far, and not the good sort. I've decamped to the sofa after having a shower but that has been a monumental effort. I feel like I'm wasting my BH (even though it's peeing down outside).

I'm afraid it gets worse. This was 1985, and I've never been big on wristwatches...so couldn't check the date.

So some poor innocent passer-by got a strung-out looking long-haired teen approaching them saying "Excuse me...what day is it?".

They politely answered and scurried away ...

All over

Not too bad, had breakfast, a walk and cleared up a few things around the house. A quick sandwich followed with some freshly squeezed orange juice. No worries about dinner as plenty left from yesterday. Apart from that I have been finding out likes and dislikes of certain foods (usually people have not even tried some of them but don't like them ), I almost have a name for the lamb (I like one suggested already but waiting for more, just in case), did and got few winks and fabs and messages (mind you I also realised that some guys think that if you wink or fab a pic for an inclusive thread like that, you are probably already halfway up their back alley). Finally, I did realise that I have to control my urge to demolish the other easter egg and trying to keep it for another day. Wish me luck as I can feel the power of resistance draining away from me. Not too bad so far as I said.

Happy April op!

We've been sampling the delights of the great British motorways today which were surprisingly stress free! Now home with a brew, Easter with the fam now a 250 mile away memory and a week off work ahead of me

It's pretty good so far is April!

Cherry x

Oh Killan you daft numpty. Get better soon.

My April is going really well! My family (well some, it's huge) came up and I've cooked too much and eaten too much but also laughed a lot. The house is quieter now and soon I'm going to have a bath and start working out London stuff, x

Hope you feel better soon.

Today is my only day off and I've laid about all day feeling not quite right and a bit sorry for myself.

However I've got a roast in the oven so that's a win.

A bit of an update. Sadly I could no longer resist and that easter egg is already half eaten

Blinding thank you.

Covered in fish pie, being referee to the horrors.

No bites today, so that's a result

Looking forward to going home.

As the first day of April draws to a close, I just went to transfer the washing to the tumble drier, only to find the washing machine didn't even start it's wash cycle.

Despite pushing all the right buttons it didn't even get turned on.

Bit of a metaphor for my sex life there....... Even the washing machine is mocking me.
