Felt this so hard today!
I only have two friends to hang out with and my sister.
One had a baby yesterday
One was working
One already had plans
I sat in twiddling my thumbs. I could have gone out and done something alone but I wanted company |

In my last job I worked a shift pattern where I had 5 days off in a row. It hit me that in those 5 days off I might not actually speak to anyone at all. |

Yup. I can spend weeks not seeing people outside of work and it’s really lonely.
I “know” a lot of people and I was always available to them but I really need someone to talk to there is nobody there. |
