King Mithridates of Pontus was executed in the most hideous way, it involved being tied in. A stagnant pool of water being force fed milk and honey until you poo and vom.
Them let all the creepy crawlies go to town on you.
He lasted 17 days!! |

"St Edmund is our actual patron Saint of England"
The emblem of the English ruling family since Alfred was a Dragon. So the invaders selecting a dragon killer as a Saint is understandable.
Can we please celebrate the English Saint born in Kent. |

"The Welsh flag as we know it now was only officially adopted in 1959"
Which accounts for it have 6 limbs. Western dragons had two feet and two wings.
The red dragon has been associated with Wales longer than the white or yellow dragon has been associated with England. |

When was it unofficially in use?
Does this explain why the Welsh flag isn't represented on the Union Jack? Or is it that Wales was considered part of England and so didn't need a flag (vaguely remember reading something along those lines). |

Yes it has ! Why does it explain the number of limbs ? Who said western dragons or indeed any dragon had to have a certain number of wings ?
To all intents and purposes they could have whatever wings and limbs they wanted ! |
