Given that this can be an odd place and apparently not everyone is as they appear - I know, shock, horror right!
what would be your preference for a 1st meet - what things do you feel need to be in place before hand?
and what are hard no's?
Have heard so many tricky situations, not just for females, guys as well. |

"Social only in a public place every time.
"
is there anything you insist on before you meet - I presume you go as a couple?
I ask for at least a face picture and a phone number - more often i chat with them over the phone before hand. |

"Social first, usually a pub for a drink (not necessarily alcoholic)
See if we all click, have always preferred regular meets than a single meet"
yea same but everyone has to have a starting point, its the time wasters, chasers and ghosters and glorified wanna be's to wade through 1st!! |

Yes we always go as a couple. We ask for a face picture but people often don't ask for ours.
I think if I was meeting as a single woman I'd want a face picture, a phone number and a few meets socially first. |

It depends. Are we talking meeting someone where there is an obvious attraction? Because if there is, the perfect place would be somewhere to go if the tension builds up.
If not, and it’s just a funky online friendship, then anything goes, just a get together with the thought of having a laugh.
Why do people make it difficult? It should be? |

Fairly straight forward stuff here but all sensible:
https://m.fabswingers.com/content/safer-meets.html
I’d want copies of their credit report file, any criminal offences, a scanned copy of notarised passport and if they’re a guy the name & phone number of their wife as a POC being next of kin. |

either - and no its not difficult, but as a single female, my safety requirements are possibly a little different to yours. Just interested what everyone else did - |

Social first, break the ice and make it more relaxed.
Have had 'fun' first meets and they've always felt a little awkward if there hasn't been a good amount of chatting beforehand. |

Wait, hold up. You haven’t got them past the video interview yet? Are you just being ultra prepared to plan ahead? I use Hireflix - everyone has to do a full interview stage process to get to even ‘meeting’ coming up on the radar. I assumed it was the same for everyone… |

Coffee first, learnt my lesson by not doing this first, you can never tell.
I like if they’ve made me laugh beforehand
Hard nos are then just talking about themselves for 20 mins |
