If you are staying in the premier inn or travelodge and plan to have a visitor, do they allow guests to the room without a card or do you need to meet at reception or bar areas?
Thanks for any info. ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

"When I've stayed in either, you need a card to get to the lifts and get the lifts to work."
I always use the stairs at these hotels.

"Stayed in both last year. Didn't need a card other than the room. Maybe it's different in various locations? You could always just ring the one you're thinking of and ask OP? "
Good thinking, I will do that.
Thank you |

I suspect that OP may be wanting to meet their visitor whilst they're 'dressed'. So probably not wanting to meet outside, or in reception. I could be totally wrong, but just ring around before booking up. Shouldn't be an issue finding a hotel that suits ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I intend to be crossdressed so meeting outside wasn't really in my plan. |

Ask for a second key for your guest at reception when you check in. You’ll need a name to give them but other than that it should be easy enough
I’m in a Travelodge weekly and there’s a fob to get past reception |
