What mobile phone do you have?

A Amazon special. It's called a Poco ....think it's a sub brand of a sub brand.
Looking at a reconditioned Google pixel soon and I've had this for nearly three years and it's starting to have charging issues. But for the price, it's been flawless. |

I used to have fairphone. Which was set up by a dutch company as a ethical alternative to the others. Worker owned cooperatives in the manufacturing chain (instead of child labour) and recycled parts etc.
I have a one plus phone..but I'd like a fairphone again. |

Has to be the Google Pixel which runs on stock Android with no bloatware that you get with Samsung. The Pixel 9 is due in Q3 and going by the leaks it looks like a cracking phone with the new Tensor G4 chip.
This may will be my next phone.

My ShagFone is a mid range Motorola - can't remember the model but it's got a huge screen and does all my shaggy stuff well.
My normal phone is Pixel 6 which is fantastic in the Android ecosystem and takes amazing pictures and videos. |

"Samsung flip because I miss flip phones from back in the day

If I do miss any phone and I think it was the last phone I had before Apple made the first modern phone it was a Sony Ericsson flip phone…genuinely amazing! |

"Pixel 6 Pro
Been with Google since Pixel 2
Very pleased with it, thiugh need to upgrade soon...mostly it only charges wirelessly now"
1 of the things I looked at before buying my Pixel, was the cost of a new battery, should I need it. (My old phone died and it was extortionate). I was impressed, as I am with the Pixels |

My trusty Huawei 5 years old and still working perfectly without a shadow of a doubt the best phone I have ever owned.
This is my third one and frankly if I could get another I would in a heartbeat. |

I always have had a Sony Experria which I loved. Unfortunately I broke it so now have an IPhone 13 which was given to me by my lovely ex wife.
I hate the bloody thing but it was free and it would cost £350 to pay of my contract . |

Has to be the Google Pixel which runs on stock Android with no bloatware that you get with Samsung. The Pixel 9 is due in Q3 and going by the leaks it looks like a cracking phone with the new Tensor G4 chip.
This may will be my next phone.
"
I've been researching the pixel today and was ready to pull the pin and buy one, until I spotted that it doesn't take and SD card. Even with 256gb, I'd need more storage with all the pictures I keep (even given that I moved them off every 3 months). Gutted, as it looked ideal! |

All my pics are backed up on Google. I've gone for Google 1 which is about £50 a year, gives me 200gb which is enough for he and my family. Hopefully no chance of them getting deleted or lost either. |

You should try Ubuntu cloud, secure versatile and above all free. |

Yeah. I avoid flagship phones and stick to the mid range one. I don't think there is a huge difference in spec. |

I carry one like that with me all the time. Stays charged for weeks on its original battery. Blue and white Nokia. It also has the loudest alarm clock ever!
I use it for all my medical reminders. Foolproof.
I usually carry up to three smarter phones with me, the busiest of which I don't use for anything smarter than phone calls and texts.
I get pissed off with people who constantly want to move to other net based platforms. Some now state that they never look at texts any more.
Why discard a reliable system which works with simple equipment.
