I've had this account on and off for couple years. And I've never met anybody on here. I'll probably admit there have been times. Where I didn't really have the time. But now I'm single and done with the whole dating. I'm ready. But nobody really talks. Maybe a couple of messages but thats as far as it goes? Is nobody interested anymore? |

We're up for meeting but we only meet people who we're compatible with and that's where the difficulty lies for everyone.
There are so many people on fab that you'd think meeting would be easy but when you narrow it down by preference, distance and mutual attraction the numbers shrink.

I meet, but rarely.
Alot of the time I get put off as all they want is NSA and I'm not after that. Also the constant want for sex talk.. when I've asked them not too.
I've also been stood up or let down at the last minute a few times, which puts me off for a while.
Some guys I've been speaking to since October and have only just met them.. |

just because your getting no where op dont mean no ones meweting it just means no ones meeting you at the moment ..
its so easy to thing no one is real when no one is interested in you the fact is women and couples in a way have it pretty easy as its a sausage fest so its just a case of finding a hot guy but for a gut yts lots of guys seeking very few women and couples |

I can understand why some females and couples are reluctant to meet single men. Have seen nothing on this thread to make me change my mind about that.
As for me? Well I don’t feel like I have gotten too old, I just look like I am!  |

I find it's the other way sometime. I will talk but a guy wants to meet straight away.
So after say 3 or 4 days they get bored (as I have to arrange meets) and then stop talk. So I then won't go onto to meet them.
Then after a week will pop back up and say still up for that meet?  no you stopped talking to me so... |

Lots of us are interested in the right people and do meet. But most people are not mutually compatible with most other people. Hence the majority of chats don't find matching souls, due to needing attraction and matching preferences.
For single men, this means that they have to invest wisely in how they promote themselves. Most don't do that very well. Swinging can include clubs, so using them gets people into contact with others. |

I'm always looking to meet, socially first - alot of people don't seem to have the patience for that.
But I need to feel some sort of spark/attraction to consider that.
And then there's the practicalities, I get people from 2,3,400 miles away "trying their luck". I'd never expect anyone to travel that far and it actually makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.
Like others have said, it's about compatibility.

Our babysitter caught fire and then exploded ( although we have zero children living at home but we just like the whole baby sitter thing ??) and so we don't meet at the mo plus being very top secret workers at MI5/6 ( But don't tell anyone) we can be called into work at the very last minute ( normally her though so only mr4 meets??) but lots meet and even more promise to or arrange to but ...and some even promise the world or ...xx  |

Your profile is good - detailed and quite a few pics - just re-look at your wording as a lot of people type as they speak and so it becomes a spew of words.
Your age will good against you to some - tattoos to others, so you’ve already narrowed your audience down.
The demographic you are pitching towards are probably single women and couples - they might be meeting/chatting to a few already so not in a position to talk.
Then they’ve got to be in your area or near for it to become likely and then there’s connecting with the right people.
Soon that big wide net you thought you had to fish with is reduced to a rod and a bag
Be polite, develop a thick skin for rejections/no responses and get your face known - socials are good for this.
