I have an ancient t-shirt I occasionally still sleep in if I'm ill. It's over thirty years old But it's soooooo soft!

Probably a wrestling shirt that's about 10 years old. I tend to update my wardrobe with a one in, one out policy so I don't have loads of really old items of clothing |

Yay I knew you'd have something. Thought it was only me for a moment that had clothes that old. There is definitely something comforting about a cuddly old t shirt or jumper in my case. |

That's because you're not that old Joe. 10 years old is like half your lifetime isn't it? |

I have an original navy wool coat that was standard issue for BT engineers a million years ago ! It's like a very posh donkey jacket with a huge collar and toggles for buttons. It's probably 40 years old if not more ! |

Yeah, fair point. Any older and I literally would've grown out of them |

I‘be got various shirts and jumpers that are over twenty years old, I have a jumper someone knitted for me that’s about 30 years old , I’ve got a jacket that was given to me when someone died that’s probably 45 years old I’ve had it 33 years.
A lot of my clothes are probably older than some of the posters on this thread |

Levi for the win, according to you and nicecouple.
Trainers I don't have very old ones I tend to wear them out. |

A classic item of clothing. Bet it washes like a dream. God I'm at that age where these things are massive plus points "

My global hypercolour T-shirt.
It’s from the 90’s.
The 90’s was a period in time when the world was exciting and people would meet outside of the internet. It was during this period in time I first learned about chicks that like to get rattled spit roast style. |

I've a sweatshirt that I got in 1992 that I wear at least twice a week every week, it has a few holes in it but I as it's worn as work clothing (vehicle repairs, DIY, gardening), it's not an issue. Many of my clothes that are in regular use are over 10 years old; some are from charity shops so they are even older. |

"I realise I have stuff from charity shops that I've no idea of the age.
And I own an original 1940s tea dress too."
I have vintage stuff as well, have some epic hats that belonged to my great grandmother and grandmother. |

Oh I love this
There is an massive comfort in wearing something so familiar. Definitely have work clothes which have paint splatters or holes from trying to sort the jungle at the bottom of the garden. |
