Have you got any road trips planned over the Easter holidays??

I'm off to the NE coast to walk one of the coastal paths at the weekend I've been told the weather is gonna be crap and to expect knee high mud .. Story of my life

Family. Tent. Rain. Mud. Wind. Running to the toilet in the rain and wind. In pyjamas. Cleaning mud off toddler pyjamas in the wind and rain. Beer. Sleep. Repeat.

I love it but probably sounds like a nightmare to most.

My partner loves foxes, so for Christmas, I got him a voucher for the fox experience. Basically it is an opportunity to spend some time (I think they say about 30 min) in foxes enclosure, meet the foxes, speak to their keepers and feed the foxes part of their daily food allowance. There are a few places in UK that offer this - I chose the conservation project near Rochester as they seem to have the biggest number of foxes.

Okehampton

I’m spending the night (Friday) in a little Shepard’s hut by the beach. I shall be alone, I just need to decompress a little, so a nice bottle of red, the log burner roaring and no tech to distract sounds ideal. Although I did get snowed in last night, that has now passed so hopeful no hiccups
