Reports from the British Attitudes Survey that less than a quarter of people are satisfied with the NHS. Not the people in it Tom hastens to add who work so hard. The peak of satisfaction was 14 years ago in 2020. Where did it all go wrong? What's going on here guys? It's all over the news... |

I think GP's are the main bug bear for it. It feels like you have more chance of winning the lottery than you do actually seeing a doctor and by the time you get there you may have more than one thing you need to discuss... but they will only do one thing at a time.
People then end up in a and e as its gone to far, which leads to longer waits and less spare beds... when it could have been sorted as out patients. |

I think they are not without their issues but I think a lot of people are very quick to voice dissatisfaction, need to think where we would be without it at times.
I can’t complain in my experience of them they saved my life twice once with preventative surgery and another time when I had a heart attack, I’m very satisfied with my experience and eternally grateful to the nhs but well aware others have had not so positive experience |

I get quite worried visiting the UK now. The fact that you can be Ill and have waiting lists to see a specialist or get treatment seems almost barbaric for a modern country with such high taxes.
No government I can ever remember has had a plan to fix this situation. That’s also quite embarrassing for a country |

Do you pay tax ? Don’t you think you have the right to see a doctor on demand if you’re sick ? Not having to wait more than 15 mins ? And if you need blood tests X-rays or scans don't you think you have the right to same or next day in case it’s something serious ? |

heard on the radio today GPs make over one million apointments a week nationally A&E deal with two million walk ups a month kinda puts it in perspective GPs are working flat out biggest problem is patients failing to turn up for appointments |

Jezz let me think... What happened 14 years ago.... Hmmmm.
Besides our aging population and the cumulative strain it puts on the NHS which is criminally underfunded more so in the last 14 years.
If the silver haired population cared about their medical needs in the future they wouldn't keep voting the way they have done.
What's left of the NHS has been run down intentionally and being stripped for parts to private companies/cronies of the party in power. |

There’s a lot wrong with the system but when are people going to take responsibility for their own health? My father is a classic example, smoked, was an alcoholic and had the most horrendous diet . I am amazed he made it to the age of 70 before he dropped down dead with pancreatic cancer a fatty liver and an enlarged heart all due to his lifestyle. |

Theres too many issues than can be fixed i think, population increases, underfunding, too much middle managment and a lack of people caring for themselves/poor food diet lifestyle ect which i get isn't just people to blame, food companies outlets and supermarkets selling this crap dont help |
