I had an alcohol free beer the other night... It was surprisingly... Nice actually. Then they said yeah we have alcohol free gin too.

Anyone else had alcohol free experiences.?

I don't drink but I'm a big fan of the 0% cider. It's just like fizzy fruit juice

I think Guiness 0.0 is a good one. If Im having an zero lager I tend to have it as a shandy.

I've had a few if I'm driving on a night out. A few are quite nice. The Brewdog Punk AF and Peroni 0% are lovely.

Becks Blue however is rancid piss.

Been on the wagon 6 months now. Not had any alcohol free beers etc. I always found them a bit poor. Ginger ale and fruit teas at the moment.

I haven't touched a drop since I was 18 I'm not a fan of alcohol seen too many things happen to others while d*unk and I don't want any part of it mainly my father was an excessive drinker and was a horrible person while under its influence

As someone well in to recovery, I learnt years ago to stay away from alcohol free drinks because if you read them most of them still have a fraction in them like 0.01%

And when out I just see them as a expensive soft drink that could hinder someone's recovery so il stick to pop

But if others enjoy them fair play to them

sainsburys low alcohol cider is 0.9% is really nice and is the closest thing to proper cider I’ve tried, kirkstall brewery have bought out a 0.5% version of its virtuous beer which seems to be getting good reviews and one I will try to track down when I’m in Leeds next week

I know someone a couple of years into recovery that likes them. They like a beer socially , they don’t ever want alcohol. They don’t like lemonade or etc

I quite like them too, I like that I don’t feel

Like throwing up or get a hangover !

Hey, I can’t, pm you as you’ve got your age range set to 26!, which I’ll be in a month lol, but congratulations on being in recovery. I have so much respect for you, that it’s amazing. I’m nearly 4 months old, as I have struggled binge-drinking for quite a few years.

I rarely drink now, I've never massively enjoyed it.

A Pepsi max always hits the spot for me
