Last night we had a knock at the door, my son answered it (he's 9), he was faced with two boys around his age who proceeded to sing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", I was in the kitchen at this point and heard the boys sing the whole song from start to finish, when they'd finished my son replies with "Can I go now" and just shut the door in their faces.

Wish my youngest daughter was more like that. The other night someone from the Dog's Trust knocked on the door and I could hear the spiel he was giving her. Long story short - she signed up to be a sponsor!!!!

Told her I was obviously giving her too much money if she was giving it to flipping dogs!!!

Here you go hum along

We wish you a Merry Christmas;

We wish you a Merry Christmas;

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Good tidings we bring to you and your kin;

Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;

Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;

Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer

We won't go until we get some;

We won't go until we get some;

We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here

We wish you a Merry Christmas;

We wish you a Merry Christmas;

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
