A fiberglass life size model of an actual Gorilla was taken from a garden centre, where people often stock up on plants and bushes, in a place called Carluke, which many will be surprised in in Scotland. It was a well known landmark, dressed as Santa at Christmas and wearing a face mask during the Covid Pandemic. It was found months later in a seldom used Scottish lay by and has been reunited with it's owner. There is more to this than meets the eye. What's going on here? It's all over the Daily Record which is the Scottish equivalent of the Times |

He's a politician, fiddling things (mainly expenses and backhanders) is part of the job description |

The Gorilla was actually found near a place called Dundee which is the city named after the delicious Dundee Fruit Cake, once a staple of Christmas hampers along with a tin of Ye Old Ham. |

It's the only way that I learn about the world and I have to dip into the news, to find out about these geographical facts of life. I've not read the full thread, so Tom may have updated us . Apologies if I was premature |
