I do.

But you’ve got to admit, there’s a lot of advertisement going behind the low sugar thing thanks to the sugar tax.

I'll abandon soft drinks altogether before I ever drink a diet or sugar free one.

I don't like things like cola or lemonade but I dislike artificial sweetener even more. If I did drink them I'd go for the original versions.

I always choose the zero option if there’s one available. Unless I’m hungover a Maccies full fat hits the spot.

Neither, but would choose sugar over fakes for health reasons.

When you mouth tastes sweet your body expects sugar not petrochemicals.

Too much fake sugar can cause a misdiagnosis of MS.

I had two friends at college who’s dad developed a popular sweetener ending with “Sweet”.

They were both made to promise never to let it pass their lips.

Artificial sweeteners give me the runs. So, if I do have fizzy pop then it'll be the full sugar version, but it's so rare I drink them, that it's hardly an issue. I can't be doing with anything fizzy at present due to swallowing issues.

Full fat Cola is actually a very effective tool for unblocking my lower oesophageal sphincter and so we keep some in the house for emergencies.

The only thing I did read once from a study (and I’m not going to go and find any proof of it,) but it did make sense.

When you’re drinking or eating low sugar food,, …. because your body is crave sugar the Coke zero doesn’t fulfil it. But somewhere along the lines it thinks that you’ve had it, so it craves even more because it’s not working. Which can lead you to binge eating to get your calories from somewhere else.

I do not drink anything with nutra sweet or aspartame in it. The aspartame lab rat study is an eye opener.

Is that still ongoing, any light at the end of the tunnel?

I prefer zero, have done since it was launched. Normal tastes furry, diet tastes tinny.

I do like a full fat Dr pepper though

Aye. Ongoing, no light really

I've eaten a few more solid meals, slowly and washed down with liquid but mainly regretted it because it gets stuck.

When we were kids fizzy drinks were strictly Christmas and birthdays. I've never really liked them anyway unless we're talking about an ice cold glass if cava .

We were the same with our kids and avoided anything with artificial sweetener.

I avoid anything with aspartame. Had to stop drinking Lucozade and Irn Bru after they added artificial sweeteners.

Regular Pepsi we’ve same way last year with sweeteners.

Only Coca-Cola maintains a full sugar version anymore

Jamie Oliver and George Osborne are utter wankers in my opinion.
