Everyone knows all roads lead to Birmingham - it is the centre of the world. Why do you need to go anywhere else? |

I’d remove everything that isn’t conductive towards getting a job which is probably 80% or more of the shit they teach in schools. R.E, history, French/german, English literature and a few others would be removed.
One main thing I’d like implemented in school is money management and the importance of setting yourself up for later life as early as you possibly can, not everyone is taught this by parents I’ve spend years drumming this into my kids my dad did a good job teaching me to avoid debt (if you can’t buy it twice you can’t afford it he would say) but not about forward planning, investing money ect
Life for many is a hamster wheel, debt is a tool used to keep us on thst hamster wheel till we are ready to drop, big mortgage, 2 cars on tick 3-6 grand holiday every year hopefully retire at 67 and if lucky get 10 years probably too fucked by pain or illness to enjoy it.
Sad part is they will never teach this at schools government want as many people on that hamster wheel as possible |
