It is possible but I wouldn’t recommend losing that much weight that quickly. I’ve had to cut weight on a deadline before and it was bad for my mood, sleep, energy and general wellbeing.
That being said I recommend downloading an app called MyNetDiary. It’s free and tracking your calories is essential in my opinion. It’ll make things easier if you’re a fussy eater because ultimately it’s calories in vs calories out.

Follow the Slimming World plan and there's no need to cut out carbs or go hungry. You can eat as much lean meats, chicken, pasta, rice, potatoes, fruit and veg as you like and you could easily lose 2 stones in 10 weeks. Send me a pm OP if you want to know more |

"ideally lose 2 stone, I’m a fussy eater and hate exercise. Am I lost cause "
Treadmill even just fast walking uphill mode, and rowing machine.
Eat smaller portions, make sure you get breakfast as it’s key to aiding weight loss.
I did cheat a little using slimming world meals
For tea.
But not being overly dedicated just that alone helped me lose a stone and half in 5 months |

"That is a massive weight loss in a short time to loose.
Not sure it's achievable without drastic crash dieting which isn't healthy."
I know I was meant to start the beginning of the year but it kept going wrong |

"Also I’m not a fan of exercise either so I got an exercise bike cycling that will burn off calories to & your just sitting on it using your legs "
I bought a combi bike/cross trainer the beginning of the year. Kids have used it I just and watch them lol |

"Calorie deficit, high protein, loads of water and aim for 10,000 steps a day minimum.
"
I will add that I did this myself, I lost 18 pounds in 8 weeks averaging about 2 lbs a week. Any more than that isn't good for you.
Bulk your meals with veg but I don't believe in cutting out food groups you like as it's not really sustainable |

Im advocating my patented 'labrador diet'.
You need 2 labradors
You can only buy fresh food
You have to leave the food in reach of the labradors
You will find that the 2 labs will eat the food. You then have no food and 2 fat labs to walk.
The weight will fall off in no time.
My usual fee is bacon butties, but the labs will have snarfed it all. |

What do you class as a 'fussy eater'? Is it an actual dislike, disordered eating, or is it your inner 5 year old stamping it's foot?
Nutritionally I would advocate filling half of your plate with veggies, then double your protein intake and stick to rice or sweet potatoes fir your carbs. Drink plenty of water. Cut back on sugar in your drinks (it adds up fast).
Try and grill rather than fry. Even a small amount of oil adds up over the week.
If you walk anywhere, put a couple of large bottles of water in a small rucksack. Carrying a little extra weigh can increase your calorie expenditure by 10-15%
Also start counting your weekly calorie intake on a Friday, not a Monday. If you go over on a weekend, you can then catch up.
For alcohol, stick to clear spirits with zero cal mixers. |

Ex PT instructor here. It is possible to lose the weight but only a short fix... to lose it and keep it off its not just gym and diet its also a change to life its self. Bad habits, lack of sleep, work related stress all play a big part also. |

If you're not really into exercise I wouldn't bother with it too much. Better to focus on your diet and find something that interests you to occupy the times you become hungry rather than going manic with exercise you're not used to and becoming mad hungry. |

Why double the protein?"
A couple of reasons. The RDA for protein is the absolute minimum you should aim for. Also protein has a high satiety level so you feel fuller on it. Additionally it also has a higher TEF (Thermic Effect of Food) which is a component of your daily calorie expenditure. Your body can use up to 30% extra energy to digest protein when compared to carbs or fats. |

Protein keeps you fuller for longer and doesn't mess up your bloodsugar like carbs do |

I've seen a couple of things questioning the RDA.
Your other reasons make sense though. |

Everyone has muscle, preserving it can be the difference between losing weight and looking healthy or looking unwell |

I also forgot to mention that if you struggle to find the time to exercise Kettlebells are your best friend. You can do a 15/20 minute full body workout 3 times a week and notice huge improvements. |

"Short of starving yourself, I'm not sure that's achievable.
Crash diets are not reccomended.
If you want to loose weight, in simple terms you need to eat less and healthily and move more.
Nita"
It sounds very challenging OP, so I'd enlist help from your GP. The best approach is the one that you will most happily stick with.
Diabetes UK does have some people who pursue very low calorie diets, in order to lose large amounts of weight. But the important thing is to find what's right for you and is healthy. Preferably with support
