So today I'm super proud of myself I actually managed to fully bind a book, it's readable and I'm super happy (had a little help from he Mr with the cover)

What have you done lately that's made you think wow I did that?

Something that's made you proud or just something that's made you smile?

I’ve just started to make bread again. I know that might not sound important to anyone else, but it is to me.

I’ve always liked baking and always did it weekends. Finding myself not doing it for two years, really bugged me. Things that make you happy, you should do more.

Good for you op, you have inspired me to look into doing that, time to write some fanfiction.

I made a cardigan recently that would have cost around £250 retail. I was quite pleased with that .

Well done on your book binding, it's quite a difficult skill to !after isn't it?

Oh wow that's brilliant, was that sewing or knitting? Or neither

I've only ever sewn myself some pj bottoms I haven't gotten my machine out in years.

Yeah it's been a long learning process with lots of procrastinating thinking I'd mess it up but I didn't (well not much)

Crochet. I'm never doing anything like it again, there were so many colour changes . Several people have asked me to make them one. Nope!

Will you do more book binding?

I made my bed this morning.

And I'm hanging some artwork this evening too.

Some of it is my own too...

I'd love to crochet I just can't get my head around it.

Yes I'll be doing more I have a whole list of different fan fiction I really want to read and bind, there's some amazing harry potter fan fiction out there & I printed this one (Fourth wing Xaden's pov) twice so I could try and learn from some mistakes for the next bind, it's good at keeping my mind occupied.

Quite a few people say they can get their head round crochet. It's one of those things you either get or you don't.

Imagine a whole bookshelf with books you've bound on it

I taught myself to crochet when I was younger, but could never get the hang of knitting. My main problem with crochet was my tension was always tight, if I tried to crochet clothes, they ended up child size. I much preferred using cotton for doilies and edging linen etc.

I've tried a few times with the crochet and failed.

I can't wait to bind more however I'm sure the Mr is sick of my books taking space now - just have to get him building more shelves

I'm not that talented.

It is visual, but technology is involved.
