Bento lunch boxes are awesome, just sayin’. You can keep everything separate and tomatoes don’t make everything soggy

Me and my partner have tried it and had it over the Xmas holiday. This along with the £10 octopus, wa a game changer. Yes, there's a lot of prep, but it was bloody good fun.

You will need a seriously sharp knife, in order to cut the sea sheets. A couple of cheap moulds (similar to ice cube trays) and a rolling mat (think Swiss roll)

Making sushi blocks is as each as making cup cakes.

Avoid chicken maybe? Or get a good cool bag.

I don't know, but your local Chinese shop will do.

ASDA does stock sushi rice as well. It's typically more horseradish, with a tiny amount of the green stuff.

Temu is good for the cheap sushi equipment.

Today I took a selection of cured meats, cheeses and crackers. I didn’t make lunch last night and I’d rather the extra 10 minutes in bed, rather than doing it in the morning.

It was fantastic! Like an adult lunchable
