I have a fair few. Mainly because of their posts in here, their photos and how their personalities come across.
It's generally people I've not met because to me a crush is more visual and virtual. I've met one or two previous crushes and they've been bloody awesome, but they then get moved from that part of my brain to somewhere else for a more permanent placement.
There's a few I'd love to meet sometime, even if just for a coffee and a natter. Of course they all tend to live frigging miles from me.....
As I rarely do subtle....a few names that spring to mind. Not an exclusive list by any stretch of the imagination, but I've not had any coffee yet so still brain fogged.....

Nope. I see it differently.
To me anyway a crush is more just a simple 'I like the way someone portrays themselves' thing, both visually and personality wise. Some of my previous crushes have been on people I'd never have any intention of meeting, let alone contemplating getting naked with. It's just a mark of admiration and respect. Nothing stalky, and no need for it to be reciprocated. It certainly doesn't need to have any level of attention attached.
I guess the difference to me is when something transforms to lust. But that only ever happens with me if I've met someone and there's been confirmed two way attraction, and most likely something physical.
But even then. I'd never demand someone's 100% attention. Even with partners. |

I does amuse me how these threads often descend into semantics about what a crush is, rather than actually taking the OP at face value and attributing their own word to the meaning rather than their meaning to the word.
Whether it be ‘like’, ‘fancy’, ‘have the hots for’ or indeed a crush, I’m sure that we all understand the concept behind what the OP means.

Oh and in response to the OP, I have many people that I have crushes on. Some I’ve met in person, some I’ve been lucky enough to get naked with, some it’s an absolute pipe dream and a few I’m lucky enough to call friends. A very special duo I’m proud to call partners and still crush on them daily |

Yep. I agree. It’s when they have your 100% attention. * just my opinion, as I’m sure other people I will explain another way.
Nope. I see it differently.
To me anyway a crush is more just a simple 'I like the way someone portrays themselves' thing, both visually and personality wise. Some of my previous crushes have been on people I'd never have any intention of meeting, let alone contemplating getting naked with. It's just a mark of admiration and respect. Nothing stalky, and no need for it to be reciprocated. It certainly doesn't need to have any level of attention attached.
I guess the difference to me is when something transforms to lust. But that only ever happens with me if I've met someone and there's been confirmed two way attraction, and most likely something physical.
But even then. I'd never demand someone's 100% attention. Even with partners. "
