losing verifications

why do verifications go when a member leaves the site, if a member chooses to leave the site then thats thier choice,but they have verified you so it should be your choice as if to keep them on your profile, surely something could be set so you can choose to keep them on your profile if you want to, |

Just meet lots of new people and get some more 
We have lost a few like that but if we chose to leave the site I can't see why my verifications should stay here,there would be no point to that

Yeah but even if you left your verifications would atleast prove the other person was genuine! which surely can't be a bad thing |

I deleted my previous profile after I asked someone to remove verification and she wouldn’t so it was the only way. It’s the only way you can take one away after giving it. |

Its because I write good verifications. I've had my ear bent more than once because I didn't warn anyone, and the veri's have all gone.

Ive lost a few verfications this way as well, but to be honest im not really here to get notches on my verfication post so it makes no odds to me if someone does not verify me or if i loose a verfication, some people on here just seem more obsessed about meeting people so they can get verified than meeting them for fun lol |

nah i dont think thats a good idea because people would be taking verfication off others for silly reasons, like not wanting to meet them again, when you swing people meet sometimes people choose not to re meet that does not make you any less genuine, so if you meet someone and like them, go home give them a good verfication and then find out they have chosen not to meet you again would it be fair to then take that verification away? i think not myself |

those verifications you gave were as a single person, you are not that single person any more. I'm sure your couples veris if and or when you start to meet will be just as thoughtful, but as a couple they will be different from single veris.

would it be a good idea and is it possible, if people leave the site the verifications stand but with a similar 'user left the site' in place of i.d, much like in the forum?.
happy medium perhaps, if at all possible. |

I agree TOTALLY with you. I lost a very good verification only yesterday. Someone i see quite a lot of left the site. Stupid thing is ... we are still in touch !! We will still meet ! but I have lost a very good 'reference' Okay so he is no longer a member ... but when he was he vouched for me being genuine and reliable. The verification should stay. It says I exist ... NOT the ex member. |

A verification just says they EXIST in the form they claim to exist in.

It wasn't me, nobody can proove it's me, I was still logged in here, it was Coll thinking I was logged in on our couple profile, not me, honestly, I don't talk that kind of crap, erm sense. |
