Usually not a big fan of messaging as find it quite depressing but thought I start this little experiment.
Requirement for receiver: sender in target group (age, sex), no obscenities just a (in my mind) reasonable first message.
So far 4 unread 1 deleted out of 5?
What is your outcome? Would be especially interested in difference between gender and single Vs couple.

Haven't sent a single first contact message since January 2020 so I can't compare and contrast.
When I was messaging though I don't think I ever sent 5 messages in the same month never mind the same day or week.
I've been here 8 years with 4 different profiles plus a couples profile and in all that time I would guess I've sent less than 100 introductory messages in total.
My response rate for those is probably around 40-50 percent.
Conversations that have gone beyond those initial responses probably number less than 30 percent.
On our couples profile which is a couple of years old at this stage we haven't sent a single introductory message because we haven't been able to meet for personal reasons but since setting it up we have received less than 40 messages and have replied to all but a couple. |
