BIrd Flu in South Georgia

Bird experts are concerned about an influx of aviation flu in penguins in South Georgia, which is actually part of the Sandwich Islands and not to be confused with it's American twin town or Russian equivalent. The island hosts half of the worlds rarest king penguin population. The island was one inhabited by brave Royal Marines when the Argentina armed forces invaded.

Should we be worried. It's all over the news

"Should the penguins be worried tho"

.

Do penguins have the capacity to "be worried", at least in terms we understand ?

.

Do they process higher executive function capability and the ability to rationalise and understand their predicament ?

.

If penguin numbers dwindle, will anyone be able to Pi.Pi.Pickup A Penguin anymore ?

.

Or will it be dead and floppy ?

To put this into context we've had pandemic levels of bird flu in UK for last 4 years, it's decimated our breeding seabirds, peak mortalities were probably two years ago, but it's still here.
