Nope, they can remember which side of the tank they are fed, they can recognize their owner from a selection of faces. One Asian man taught his goldfish to play a sort of football, it was shown on the secret life of pets I think. |

The goldfish memory thing has been debunked.
Like the 'you're my lobster' thing, which i find particularly amusing as a friend and new husband got matching tattoos of lobsters as a wedding gift to each other. In fact the female likes to wee on the male (out of her face no less) around his house as a display of interest.
Perhaps my friend's are kinkier than I had anticipated?  |
