Can i please kindly remind that profile pictures dont say everything about a person and many people are not very photogenic and not everyone can spend hundreds of pounds for a professional shooting. I am saying this as i have been turned down many times because of the way i look in my pictures unfortunately but then people change their mind when they meet me. What is your thought? |

Have they told you that is the reason they are turning you down or have they just said you aren't their type?
I have seen lots of women on here who look absolutely amazing in their pics and some who could or should have a professional portfolio and I still wouldn't meet them.
If they aren't my type I don't care what they look like. |

I think your pictures are fine. Just be you. People say no to people all the time. It's their right and preferences. Just as you have yours.
There's someone for everyone.
Most people have profiles with self taken or phone photos.
Try not to let it get you down |

I admit, I’M PETTY
I ran into a lady who turnt me down on Fab at the Torture Garden once. She was keen & didn’t even remember saying “No” to me. But it felt soooo telling her “She had her chance” LOL
Fellas, don’t let your lack of success effect your confidence. Get out to the clubs |

My thoughts are that your pics are absolutely fine, however you won't appeal to everyone, none of us will op & there's not much we can do about that.
If you think you do better with people in the flesh, socials are definitely the place to go though, as others have said.

Looks are only half the battle! Had many a convo with gorgeous people who just didn’t click for me. Likewise had many a convo with people who looked totally down to earth in their pics and only had one or two and were absolutely stars.
Best thing k can suggest is get to a club! You can’t hide behind fake pics and photoshop in a club, and you can tell quite quickly if somebody is your type of person or not.
For the record I’m not seeing a single thing wrong with any post posting in this thread. Keep on keeping on people! |

My thought is that there must be 0.000001% of site users spending money on professional shoots.
The rest just do it themselves, some are better at taking photos than others, some choose better subject matter and content, and some are just prettier than other people.
That's life. As long as your photos look like you that's all you can do. No face swapping, no AI induced body changes and definitely no bloody Snapchat filters.
A lot of people know how to take a flattering photo. Some think a blurry mirror selfie is good enough. People can generally spot the difference.
But if you don't catch someone's eye and someone isn't attracted to you? It's not always going to be down to how good your photos are. It's generally just preferences. |
