"If someone called me bro I'd laugh like I did when our son said 'innit ' to me. I felt all pleased that he thought I'd know what he meant
I suppose it’s all about the situation innit "
I suppose it is.
We were chatting and he was very much in agreement with what I said as indicated by his emphatic "innit"

one time I called my fiancé bruv in an argument and she stopped, stared and said ‘who the fuck are you chatting to like that?’ And I swear I’ve never loved anyone more. |

"In playful banter it’ll start a play fight and ultimately get you laid. If it’s regular it’s annoying and will get you blocked haha
This " if a chick was calling you bro how would you feel? |

Well these would come with misogynistic undertones. As opposed to bro. Which is clearly an affectionate term |

Maybe who's mouth it spouts out too.
Elderly, young guy or a middle aged man who looks like his mum dresses him.
I very rarely take offence at anyone, specially at a swingers night, no time, best to say 'lovely to meet you' and move on. |

The art of the English language is dying for sure.
Bro, Bruv, innit, nah wot i mean.
Using like, literally, me personally myself, in practically every sentence.
Shows education standards have dropped
Micky Flanagan summed it up on - An' Another Fing Live "Take me home i'm as thick as sh*t" |

I don’t think it reflects that education standards have dropped in any way.
I know and worked with plenty of people that talk slang and got As and A*s in English language and Lit. |

I have three degrees and am a former university lecturer - I say like and bro and innit… it’s nothing to do with education trust me - it’s to do with culture.
Working class culture doesn’t mean Ill educated it means roots.
