Most of mine are from trampolining when I was a teenager and some came from a majorette troupe when I was a child
They're all chucked in either mine or my parents loft
I dread to think what else is hidden in there

Was a competitive little thing as a child but the ones I’m most proud of are the Galway Prom Swim - was 1 mile long. The key to winning this - something got tangled around my foot at the start and I thought sharks and motored on…..
The others are a couple of national water polo medals I got in collage – had to really work to get on the team.
Favourites though are a handful of rosettes I got for riding (horses) nothing is as beautiful as the trust, elegance and exhilaration of getting this partnership right.

I was clearing out the other day and discovered an old certificate I won when I was at school, aged 8, for a competition that involved writing about chocolate. I remember I got the certificate and a box of chocs and some crayons |

Not a Trophy but have a cerificate awarded for an Essay and I quote
For the affect of Alcohol on the Human Body
awarded by the Band of Hope and Temperance
Not that it did me much good but then again I was only 10 when I wrote it |

I love this attitude!
You don't have to be faster than the shark, just faster than the other competitors who can then act as shark bait!!
LOL
