I had a sourdough mother going for about a year.

Some of the best crumpets I’ve ever made.

I shove some of it in a beer. And the loaves of bread, we are really nice.

I went on holiday and stupidly thought I could’ve rescued it from the fridge when I returned. It was never the same sadly. Thank you you’ve just reminded me I now have time to do one again

Now I don't know if it's turned out how it's should have as it's been about 20 years since last had soda bread from the bakery I don't think we get it here now in derby.

But when I toast it, it smells nice and tastes nice so that's what counts so almost finished it and will make another one to use up the milk... Then will try a regular bread with yeast
