Yesterday I posted on a thread what I thought was obviously a sarcastic comment about growth hormones in food being linked to people changing their preferred pronouns.
If you didn't get that I was taking the piss I apologise. And if you think I am a nutty conspiracy theorist, I really am not. But I should be more careful with making sure my humour is obvious!
And now I am probably over thinking things. |

Being taken seriously when you were being sarcastic could be one of the most frustrating things ever, especially when it prompts someone to be condescending or dismiss you as stupid in their response. Sarcasm is dead now that the things we'd say sarcastically have formed into genuine beliefs held by an unnerving fraction of the population.
