A man in a place called Macclesfield, which should be famous as the home of Hovis but completely overshadowed by the advert delivering the bread up hill on his push bike which is set in Dorset. The man ran a vegan restaurant and the cost of living crisis caused a 40% drop in revenue. His only crime was to introduce some non vegan fayre onto the menu and vegan activists have been trolling and leaving fake reviews. Now Tom is a big fan of vegan food but not a big fan of vegans who want to push their doctrine down your throat. The cafe owner says that much of the abuse is not coming from Macclesfield people, a northern tight knit gritty community, but from outsiders. Walk in my shoes he says to critics. It is not known if these are leather or plastic .. what's going on here guys. It's all over the news |

As long as it is clearly identifiable which parts of the menu are non vegan then I don’t see a problem.
All the vegans I know cover quite a spectrum of how rigidly they follow their veganism.
Some are 1 day a week, through to some who are fanatical and will make major life changes to remain faithful to the ideal.
Guess the guys just trying to keep his business afloat. |
