"I think Joshua will box how he boxed in the 2nd Ruiz fight
That's the problem with AJ. He's too predictable "
I get that but if I'm him, I'm just trying to win and hopefully get the undisputed fight/title fight next |

One thing I would say is if you're a betting man (or woman), I'd take the bet on Joshua under 0.5 knockdown for the fight. I've never seen Francis Ngannou hurt I'm any of his professional fights. He's never been knocked down or anything he's a beast. So decent value |

Completely agree with that. Will have to see what happens |

Agreed mate. You see I've been watching Ngannou for years in UFC. The guy is a machine. It is frightening how powerful his punches are. I just can't see AJ beating him at all. Heck even Tyson Fury struggled against Ngannou. Gave him a shock and half. |

Surely AJ has realised from the Fury Ngannu fight that it needs be taken more serious than an exhibition match!
If not I can see Ngannu charging out like a bull and putting AJ under immediate pressure with big punches and if one connects its lights out AJ and I don't think he has the ability to get up off the floor |

Depends very much on which AJ turns up. He's well past his best before date now but may rise to the occasion. Ngannou is strong and his chin is tested. He will have refined from his dodgy loss to the big dosser and really think he will KO AJ and end his career. Done in under 7.
Wow. Put my head on the block there! |

I think if he comes out of his corner and treats it as a proper fight and trained accordingly he should win with his superior boxing ability.
Tysoe Furey obviously didn't train properly or even take the fight seriously and just turned up for the money.

"Wanted to watch it but not paying for it x
Is your local pub not showing it?
Hahah was gonna say that. That's what I'm doing. Main event 2300hrs is what I'm tracking"
Best way
The banter and atmosphere can be electric |

Aj has a better boxing iq and boxing pedigree.
If Aj goes into this fight to box (as in the art of boxing) he'll get the win.
If he chooses to stand in the middle of the ring and trade,or gets drawn in to going toe to toe, he's getting knocked the fuck out!!!

"If Ngannou doesn't put AJ away the first 6 rounds, it'll go the distance with A.J. winning on points."
A very good call, the only chink in Ngannou's armour is his engine, he's not used to going 10 rounds as a norm.
Boxing and the amount of time (rounds) are very new to him but he is one hell of a powerful unit with a good and proven chin. |

"Why not start a thread to follow the card
Card starts at 4pm UK time. First 2 hours are free on Sky Sports Action I believe" you can only watch it on sky sports so unfortunately most of us won't be seeing it |

I've never been a huge boxing fan, but do fans ever feel ripped off when a big billed fight ends within 2 or 3 rounds? Or is it just the spectacle and atmosphere of a big fight feel that trumps all? |

If you were paying I would. This is why a good undercard is important |

Good undercards can make up for it but it depends how strongly you feel for your man or woman in the ring. If you just want the result or a war. |

That's a good point. I suppose if you support someone strongly enough, you just want them to win rather than care about how long it goes |

That fury match was just a show to make Francis look good.. fury carried him and took a few dives.. he was always going to fight AJ after and AJ was going to do a number on him so the fury fight is always there now.. fury won’t get past usyk tho |

Don't feel ripped off if it was a competitive fight (on paper).
Hagler v Hearns only went three rounds but is one of the greatest fights ever.
AJ did what he was supposed to do against a novice boxer. I thought he'd killed him
Hopefully this will help him regain his confidence. |

"Very pleased for AJ, good to see him back to his best. Hope he batters fury
Won't happen.
As in the fight will never happen or Joshua couldn’t batter fury?"
The former. I actually don't know where my money would go in the latter

I’m inclined to agree. Fingers crossed anyway, would be a good spectacle! |

I can not believe what I just witnessed Aj k.o francis ngannou! it seems that ngannou wasn't himself tonight something stopping him unleashing boxing world is run by gangsters its a big money maker this sport.
Think about it if AJ lost they will only be one more big fight pay day for fury and Usk after that it's a wrap because these guys are getting older n older so I believe they had to let aj win and drag this out a little more. |

"I cannot wait for the excuses to be trotted out about why Ngannou lost.
The mob fixed it? He was dr*gged? Jewish space lasers? He was boxing against a proper boxer who took the fight seriously?"
No mob involvement it’s sports washing funds
Why would saudi arabia public sports fund fix the fight for him to loose when they investment in to him is well in to the 300 million mark at this point
60 for furry and 70 for this and a cool 200 million investment in to PFL the mma org that he’s currently singed to
I know your not saying just stateing for everyone to read |

Ngannu isn't a boxer AJ is.
I'm glad AJ went straight out and exerted dominance over Ngannu and ended it quickly.
I love boxing and I thing these exhibition matches making a mockery of the sport in my opinion.

"Put his arm out to break his fall" this is pure jokes, his flexable spine was the only thing that broke his fall. AJ folded that guy in half and knocked him into next week |

I'm far from a fan of AJ but he demolished Francis and that's all there is to it. The last knockdown was brutal. Out cold before he hit the canvass
