Cats.
Dogs are like needy toddlers who don't understand personal space. They're high maintenance and they smell.
Cats are independent, love you on their terms and require little to no upkeep.
Also, the smell of a warm cat belly is the closest thing to heaven a human can experience. |

Grew up with both, and had both with our growing family... our chocolate Burmese died of old age in lock down...vowed no more (didn't want the litter tray mess)..fast forward to now, we have Hugo the blue Burmese who uses the toilet, to go to the toilet |

I love both. But I currently have 3 dogs and they are a joy. Also a pain in the ass, but wouldn’t be without them. My latest (adopted) is so cuddly that he’s like my emotional support dog.
When I walk through the door the adulation I receive is akin to what Taylor Swift receives when she walks on stage. You don’t get that with cats!

Our Hugo behaves very much like a dog or human...he's a great mix as Mr is much more a dog person than me |
