Don't worry. There's a therapy group available for you. It's just along the corridor from the TR7 owners therapy group... |

My first was a 1954 Austin A30, which I bought for about seven quid (!!) when I was 10. It was 'supposed' to be for me to leave on my Dad's mates farm for me to drive around off-road and learn some car control.
But my Dad thought it was such a good little car that he got it back to roadworthy condition, put it back on the road and we took it to Cornwall twice for holiday! About three years later I/Dad sold it to a young guy as hist first car, and he wrote it off a week later.. I nearly cried... And I never got me £7 back from my Dad, even though he sold it on for £30!! |

"Ford Capri 2.0 s loved it so much had another 9 of them various engine sizes from 3.0 to 2.8i still mad for them. "
We are Capri fans too. We had our mark 3 from new and kept it for 7 years. Fabulous car, very versatile. Four up @ 107mph on a German autobahn. Family car, also picked up a three seater settee with it poking out of the tailgate. Would still love one. |

1.1c metro. Followed by a 114 gta rover 100, and then a gti metro. Then a lotus engined metro gti. Then a metro turbo.
Then a 200sx turbo . (Just so you know I eventually tried something else.) |

Opel Kadet 1.2 in bright lime green (the German Chevette basically), only took me about 6months of idiocy to write it off
after that was an Escort 1.1 hatchback, also written off when someone ploughed into the back while it was parked outside a shop! |

I learned in my dads Escort Cosworth!
After passing my test and spending a year driving round in a knackered Sierra I bought it off him.
I spose technically the Sierra was my first car, but I drove the Cossie first...lol |

I had all sorts of cars whilst learning to drive, whatever was free in Dad's 2nd hand car showroom was what I got to run round in whenever I could persuade someone to sit in with me so I had all sorts up to 3ltr Cortinas as a learner. Once I passed my test I ended up with a converted 1.1 white fiesta van with a dodgy starter motor - I always carried a hammer in the glovebox and when the engine conked out I'd open the bonnet and tap the starter with a hammer a coupla times and it would work again - nowadays I wouldn't be able to find the fecking starter and would probably be arrested for carrying a hammer in the car! GBV 71W was the car reg and I called him Gilbert |

It was parked by a farm gate... The farm was owned by a friend... Sooze asked for a go of a nearby tractor... The rest writes itself.....
Everyone was horrified... Sooze laughed for 2 days... She will still laugh now.....and this is about 25 years ago |
