Yup, it was in the Turing institute in Glasgow, a mate of mine was showing me this amazing thing, you could type on one keyboard and the text appeared on another, it only cost £35,000 per keyboard/pc at the time, fecking pointless I thought, its never gonna take off |

Yep porn is widely available mr plums, ask arcie he knows and i dare say i could point you in the direction of a couple of sites . mind you might find that there gap betwix your thumb and fore finger filled

1974 My School was the first to be connected by the internet by an IBM computer to a Polytechnic now a University...lol
We had to use cards with holes in them and reels of paper tape with holes in which used Binary code to communicate...
And dont question my age as I will tell ya all to piss off like I did some d*unk Scottish fella the other night... |

90s at some point when home internet was a new fancy fangled thing and my papa had bought a top of the range computer with the faint hope of it being an educational tool for us i remember the shop tiny cost an arm n a leg and the internet was extremely slow and cost a bomb!! ah the advances of technology!! xx |

i remember my first pc, was about 10 years ago, took 3 hours to boot up, couldnt call anyone while you was on line and you could go and make a cuppa while each page was loading lol oh and only had half gig hard drive

I remember getting a huge old PC the hard drive was bigger than a tower and weighed a ton you could sit the monitor on it without worrying if you were going to damage it
First thing I remember seeing online was Ebay cos hubby thought it would be good for flogging the stuff the kids had outgrown - little did he know I would end up spending more than I ever made on it
