Hi everyone
Hope all is well
Me and the mrs have been together few years and not used any toys. I’m thinking now how to introduce some toys ? Do I ask the mrs first or just buy some ? Also any advice on what to get for beginners many thanks |

Maybe find an article that rates different toys and send it to her - ask her what she likes the sound of? Women’s magazines often do those, just search on Cosmo for example.
I think a good starter for any woman is either a wand, a vibrator or one of the love honey rose toys if you want something with batteries. A good old fashioned dildo is fun too.
Otherwise why not take her for brunch and pop onto a shop like Cyberdog in Camden and have a look? |

Buy some, start with a small vibrator for her clit maybe. Nothing weird looking, big and scary if she doesn’t have any sex toys already. Just be resigned to the fact that some toys are going to be relegated to the back of cupboard and one or two will become bedside drawer favourites. |

I think you’re making way too big a deal of it and worrying unnecessarily, asking your partner about toys isn’t something to be nervous about. Just say ‘have you ever used toys before?’ If she says no then say ‘would you like to try them?’ If she says yes then say ‘did you like using them?’….I’m sure you’ll be able to tell from her answers to those questions whether it’s something she’s up for or not.
Is your partner a bit shy and reserved then? It’s weird that you are so worried about discussing something sexual with her after being together for a few years, I’d understand why though if she’s very reserved and would be uncomfortable discussing it. Maybe if she is like that then it’s best not to mention it as you don’t want to make her feel uncomfortable and she probably won’t be up for it anyway as she’s reserved. |
