I wonder what the point of them is if nobody takes any notice.
We used to live near a shop where the alarm would go off regularly in the middle of the night. I knew the owner and that they sailed very close to the wind legally. The next time I saw him I offered to call the police next time it went off. It never did... |

Rules have changed, What alot of people dont know is they can be fined for constant noise nuisance.
With house or car alarms if they are constantly going off with no apparent reason.
They can be served with an asbo for noise nuisance, as others dont need to put up with it. |

There wqs a shopping centre up north that had an alarm that sang a nursery rhyme in a creepy childs voice, it was brilliant till spiders shorted the circuit and it kept going off in the middle of the night. It freaked the local residents. |
