Hey, is anyone a fan of The stone Roses? My first proper concert was seeing them at Wembley Stadium in 2017. It was one of the greatest nights of my life. I think that experience really sparked my love for music and going to concerts.

"One of my all time favourite bands!
Saw them at the etihad few years back.
Actually going to see a tribute band on friday" they were superb live and the atmosphere was mental flares going off everywhere.
I might have to check out one tribute as we can't see the real thing anymore |

Unfortunately they got caught up in a dispute with their record label that stifled their future promise.
Second Coming was a bit of a disappointment. The movement that spawned them had moved on by the time it was released
However there are still fresh and exciting bands emerging all the time for this old raver to get excited about…

I guess I'm a bit of a strange fan. Being a massive blues rock fan (the clue is in my Fab name lol) I absolutely love the Second Coming album but their other output (the stuff their hardcore fans fawn dreamy-eyed over) I'm not really bothered for. |

I seem to remember they turned up at the record company offices with cans of paint and did some redecorating |

I was at the reunion gig at Heaton park… bloody brilliant!
Mind you… mani always said there was more chance of Man City winning the European Cup than there was of the roses getting back together! |

Whilst I do like some of their music I don’t love it. Isn’t the guitarist now making music with Liam Gallagher? Didn’t think much of that offering, it’s ok but it’s not blowing my socks off. |
